Local Ministries

Cross is committed to sharing resources and serving in our local community. We support organizations in our area either by donating goods or money and by sending volunteers. Here are a few of the ministries we support. 

Ixonia Food Pantry

The food pantry is located in the heart of Ixonia. It serves many local families in need. We support their mission to provide goods for the less fortunate in the community. Info regarding our next food drive can be found in the newsletter and in the email blast. 

Bread and Roses

Bread and Roses is a community organization run and supported by local churches. It operates out of Immanuel Lutheran in Watertown and serves meals weekly on Thursday nights to underprivileged families. Each church in the area takes turns supplying volunteers and food. Cross serves at Bread and Roses twice a year.

Lutherdale

Lutherdale is a bible camp in our state. We support them in their efforts to provide a quality camping environment for children of all ages.

Cross also supports missions work in the world. 

Lutheran World relief

We support Lutheran World Relief thru sending supplies and donations toward their many projects throughout the globe. Find out more at their website. 

Disaster Response

We support varies causes throughout the globe. One of the way we support this mission is by giving to "Disaster Response Efforts" through the ELCA. 

Endowment Fund

As part of Cross' giving a portion goes toward a Missions Endowment Fund. Through this fund we are able to support different ministries both near and far.
